Alderville First Nation Daycare

FULL-TIME INFANT TEACHER
(12 Month Contract)

The Alderville First Nation Day Care is looking for a reliable and energetic individual with qualifications and experience to fill the position of an E.C.E. in the Infant room.. Under the direct supervision of the Daycare Supervisor, but accountable to the Band Administration and/or Chief & Council.

Qualifications:

• Early Childhood Education Diploma
• Knowledge of Native Culture, and First Nation Communities an asset
• Valid certification in C.P.R. & First Aid
• Knowledge of the Day Nurseries Act
• A current Criminal reference check must be provided upon being hired
• Updated proof of immunization records

Duties:

• Develop and deliver age appropriate activities for specific age groups
• Maintain accurate and appropriate records
• Attend staff meetings and workshops for professional development
• Other assignments outside of main room may be required when needed
